Overview

Moldex® manufactures a broad range of both Respiratory and Hearing protection products that may be suitable for recovery and clean-up operations in response to flood related damages.

Mold, nuisance odors, particulates and other toxic substances will likely be present. It is important that before either respiratory or hearing protection can be selected that proper hazard assessment be performed by an onsite Industrial Hygienist or other appropriate Safety Professional.

Moldex® Respiratory Solution

Moldex® has a full complement of respirators ranging from N95 disposables such as the 2200N95, 2700N95, the 2800 series (for the accompanying nuisance odors), N100 such as 2730N100 and 2360P100 series, the 8000 series with P100 filters, or 8000 series with 8100 Organic Vapor cartridges piggybacked with P100 filters. Please refer to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134.

Machinery such as chain saws, cutting equipment, grinding operations and heavy equipment operators

Moldex® Hearing Solution

Moldex® has a full complement of hearing protection devices for most noise environments. Such as our disposable foam earplugs plugs that range in NRR from 22 to 33 to our earmuffs with NRRs from 24 to 29. Please refer to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.95.
